There are many factors to consider in making your choice.  I look at your lifestyle, life goals, environment, temperament and a host of other factors to help create winning conditions, pairing you with the perfectly suited companion.

Dog training can, of course, help in many areas, but the breed temperament is hard wired to a certain extent. Some dogs are naturally energetic, excitable or barkers.  Others are couch potatoes whose version of heaven includes a fireplace and a soft lap as a pillow.  The right dog for you is out there, and I will help you decide which breed to choose.

There are also practical considerations.  Some breeds are protective and like to sleep near the door. Others would rather sleep as close to their owners as possible.  Some are independent; others will try to follow you to the bathroom. Some need elevated food bowls, special diets, or a plentiful supply of chews to ensure the structural integrity of your favourite shoes. 

The process involves completing a questionnaire; a two hour interview and a detailed site visit of your home. Together, we can make sure that the dog you choose will be the best long-term companion you could wish for.
